Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management- Global exclusions

Microsoft has introduced a new feature called "Global exclusions" to enhance usability and offer a convenient way to access and manage exclusions in the Insider Risk Management program within the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. This update relocates all exclusion features currently found under intelligent detections to the new tab labeled "Global exclusions" within the insider risk settings while maintaining the functionality of exclusions in identifying potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks such as IP thefts, data leakage, and security violations. Previously added exclusions in intelligent detections will be migrated to this new tab, and admins with appropriate permissions can add exclusions via defined detection groups. With role-based access controls and audit logs in place, users are pseudonymized by default, helping ensure user-level privacy in compliance with internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. This recommendation is recommended for all users of the Microsoft Purview compliance portal to ensure compliance with data tags.
