Microsoft Teams: Copilot in Teams can analyze content shared on-screen during a meeting

Microsoft Teams has introduced a new feature called Copilot, which can analyze content shared on-screen during a meeting when recording is enabled. This feature, when combined with meeting transcripts and chat, allows users to easily ask Copilot to summarize or find specific information from screen-shared content. Whether it's identifying the products with the highest sales or consolidating insights across the conversation and presentation, Copilot can help draft new content based on the entire meeting. This feature works with any content shared while sharing a desktop screen, including documents, slides, spreadsheets, and websites, irrespective of platform or app. However, it currently doesn't support PowerPoint Live and Whiteboard in Teams, but they plan to make it available in the future. This feature will be generally available starting February CY2025 for the Mac Cloud Instance worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant).
