Changes are coming to the Minimum Supported Browsers
Microsoft has announced changes to the minimum supported browsers for Office for the web users. Starting from July 2023, users of unsupported browsers will no longer be able to connect to Microsoft 365 web applications. It is recommended that customers plan ahead and ensure that devices in their organization are using a supported browser and have been updated to the latest version. Microsoft 365 provides a list of supported browsers, which can be accessed through the links mentioned in the post. It is also recommended to use a software inventory and management tool to identify browsers installed in the organization and to ensure all devices have been upgraded to the latest version of a supported browser. Failure to upgrade to supported versions of browsers may result in a degraded experience or inability to connect to the Microsoft 365 web apps.
Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that all devices using Microsoft 365 web applications mentioned in the Products section of this communication have been updated to a supported version of a supported browser before the July 2023 change takes effect. Going forward, it is more likely that customers using unsupported browsers or unsupported versions of supported browsers will face issues while connecting to the Microsoft 365 web applications.
Stay ahead of the game by staying updated with the relevant software tools and the latest version of supported browsers. The post Changes are coming to the Minimum Supported Browsers originally appeared on M365 Admin.
