Microsoft Outlook: Drag and drop calendar events to reschedule meetings
Microsoft Outlook will support drag-and-drop rescheduling of calendar events in day and multi-day views starting late August 2026. Users can move only their own events directly on the calendar without admin setup. No action is required, but notifying users and updating training is recommended. Microsoft Outlook is introducing drag-and-drop support for calendar events, allowing users to reschedule events by moving them directly to a different time slot on their calendar. This update simplifies calendar management and helps users make scheduling changes more quickly. This feature is available in day view and multi-day calendar views.
