Microsoft 365: Release of In-Person Events (IPE) including Hybrid RSVPing (HRSVP)

Microsoft 365: Release of In-Person Events (IPE) including Hybrid RSVPing (HRSVP)

In 2024, Microsoft 365 will release a feature known as In-Person Events (IPE), which will allow users to efficiently schedule face-to-face meetings with Hybrid RSVPing (HRSVP). The rollout will begin in late March 2024 and is expected to be completed by mid-April 2024. Users will have access to new functionalities while scheduling and accepting meeting invitations. Meeting organizers will be able to request in-person attendance with a new toggle, and invitees will be able to respond (RSVP) either virtually/online or in-person. These functionalities will only be available on Microsoft Outlook on the Web (OWA) and the new Outlook Desktop for Windows. There is nothing the tenant admins need to do to prepare, as this feature will automatically be rolled out.
