Outlook on the Web: Meeting Participants Time-Zone Notification

Outlook on the Web: Meeting Participants Time-Zone Notification

Outlook is introducing a feature to help meeting organizers find overlapping times across different global time zones. This feature aims to facilitate seamless collaboration among team members dispersed around the globe. Additional enhancements are being made to the feature based on user feedback, and the rollout is expected to begin in mid-October 2023 and be completed by late October 2023. The update will be automatically available in Outlook Web Application, and it will display a tool-tip message advising organizers to navigate to the scheduling assistant, which will assist in converting local time, thereby helping organizers make informed decisions.

If you're an avid Outlook user, you'll be pleased to know that no action is required currently to take advantage of this feature. So, the next time you schedule a meeting in Outlook, this feature will provide valuable information to assist you in scheduling a meeting at a suitable time across different time zones.
