Microsoft Teams: Together Mode Usability Improvements in Teams Meetings
Microsoft Teams is introducing new usability improvements to Together Mode in Teams Meetings to enhance user experience. With the new improvements, name labels attached to participants' videos will support status icons indicating microphone, active speaker, spotlight or pin within the meeting. Additionally, your own video in the gallery will be removed while Together Mode is active to avoid duplication of self-preview. Raised hands and reactions within the view will be displayed in Together Mode as well. The update will be rolled out starting in early May and expected to be completed by mid-June. These improvements make Together Mode more inclusive and will be easier to understand what's happening in the meeting.
It is recommended that users prepare for this update by updating their training materials and informing their users of this upcoming update.
