Microsoft Teams: Together Mode Usability Improvements
Microsoft Teams is introducing new usability improvements to Together Mode to enhance the user experience. Among these improvements is the addition of name labels to participants' videos, allowing for clear identification during meetings. Additionally, status icons are being implemented to show microphone, active speaker, spotlight, or pin within the meeting, aiding communication. Moreover, during Together Mode, your own video in the gallery will be removed to avoid duplication of the self-preview. Lastly, raised hands and reactions can be viewed within the Together Mode view.
These improvements will make Together Mode more intuitive, streamlined, and engaging for users, contributing to an overall better video conferencing experience. The enhancements will be available to all users on the Microsoft Teams platform, and will be released in June of CY2023.
