Microsoft Teams: Front Row gallery improvements on Teams Rooms on Windows: Active video speaker promotion

Microsoft Teams has recently rolled out an improvement to its Front Row gallery feature. In single and dual display modes, Front Row now promotes pinned or spotlighted participants to the center stage when there is no shared content. In single mode, either the most recent active speaker or pinned participant will be showcased in the center when no one is pinned, spotlighted, or sharing content. In dual mode, the two most recent active speakers will be displayed on each screen in the absence of pinned, spotlighted, or content-sharing participants. If someone shares content, the most recent video speaker will be promoted on the right screen.
This feature has been released as part of Microsoft Teams' general availability and is accessible worldwide. For more details on the improvement, check out the Microsoft 365 roadmap or visit the M365 Admin website.
