Microsoft Teams: Meeting Chat shown by default in Gallery View for Teams Rooms on Windows
Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows now display Meeting Chat by default in Gallery View, making it easier to view incoming chat messages on the main room display during a Teams meeting. IT Admins have the option to set the default chat experience for the room, while attending users can choose to show or hide the chat using the touch console. This update was released in March CY2024 and is available across the GCC, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC High platforms on the cloud instance.
