OneDrive/SharePoint Share Control – Simplifying Link Settings

OneDrive/SharePoint Share Control is launching an improved feature that will simplify link settings by providing more helpful tooltips, definitions, and clearer language to help users understand which link type and permissions best suit their needs when sharing a file or folder with co-workers. Additionally, the update will add a quick at-a-glance view of all the collaborators that currently have access. This will serve as an entry-point to Manage Access, which provides even more granular control. The rollout for this feature will occur between early November and early December, depending on the release plan. Once implemented, users can expect to see these changes when modifying their sharing settings. It's recommended to notify users about this new capability and update training and documentation as appropriate.
