Search Video Transcript for Stream (on SharePoint)

Microsoft is set to introduce a new feature to enhance video sharing on OneDrive or SharePoint. With this new feature, users can now search for keywords within the video transcript, and the results will navigate them to the respective point in the video. The feature will be launched gradually from late November and expected to be complete by late February, affecting users with either view or edit permissions on a file. There is no action required to enable the feature and it will be available to users once it is rolled out. It's important to note that the feature is only for searching the transcript of a single video, and users can use the Microsoft 365 search to search the transcripts of all videos they have permission to watch.
