Microsoft Teams: Authentication token modernization for Android-based Microsoft Teams devices
Microsoft Teams is introducing modern authentication tokens for Android-based Teams devices to replace the legacy Skype tokens. This includes Teams phone devices, non-touch phones, Teams displays and Teams Panels. The new IC3 tokens will be used for authentication and admins can enable 'Block Legacy Authentication' to update their authentication tokens when available. This change will be made available on a worldwide platform via cloud instance, with a general availability release date of January CY2025.
