Microsoft Teams: Users can give and take control during screensharing on the web
Microsoft Teams on the web is adding a new feature that will allow users to take control during screen sharing, similar to the desktop version. The feature will be rolled out in Targeted Release in early December 2024 and in General Availability by mid-January 2025. No administrative action will be required to enable this feature. With the new update, users will be able to use the Take Control feature during screensharing on the web, enabling a more efficient and effective collaborative experience. This feature will be automatically available to all Teams on the web users. It is recommended to inform and update users about this upcoming change in advance.
