Microsoft Teams: Ability to give and take control during screensharing on Web

Microsoft Teams is rolling out a new update that allows users to have greater control during screensharing on the web. The "give and take control" function, which is familiar to desktop users, will now be available on the web platform as well. The update is set to be released to the general public by December CY2024 and will be available on multiple platforms, including Web Cloud Instance GCC, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC High, and DoD. This new feature aims to make the screensharing experience even more intuitive and easy to use.

To learn more about this feature and its release, check out the Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 420327.
