Microsoft Teams: Require background blur when no background is selected (Premium)
Microsoft Teams is set to introduce a new feature that requires background blurring when users do not have a specific background image applied to their video. This feature will be available through the Premium subscription package of Microsoft Teams. This will help make sure that video calls always have a clean and professional look, even if users do not have a specific background image in place.
The release date of this feature is scheduled for October of 2023, and it will be available on Mac and the Cloud Instance Worldwide platforms, as well as DoD, GCC, and GCC High. This feature is part of Microsoft's roadmap to continuously improve Teams' functionality and capabilities.
To access this feature, users will have to subscribe to Microsoft Teams premium package. With this feature, video calls will always have a professional look, taking into account that some users may not be able to have a specific background image.
