Microsoft Teams: Background Blur and Effects for Citrix
Microsoft Teams is rolling out a new feature for Citrix virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) users, which allows them to blur the background in video calls and meetings or replace it with an image. This adds another level of customization and privacy for participants. This new feature is available in the General Availability release and was created on September 1, 2022. The platform is available on Desktop Cloud Instance such as GCC, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC High, DoD.
For those using Teams on virtual desktop infrastructure, this feature is sure to enhance the user experience and help make meetings more engaging and productive. Additionally, this feature ensures that the privacy of participants is respected, while customizability helps to ensure that calls can be conducted in an environment where the participant feels most comfortable.
