Outlook: New Outlook for Windows and web, support for search folders

Microsoft introduces new features for its Outlook application. The features include support for search folders, which are virtual folders that display all email items that meet specific search criteria. By using search folders, users get a unified view of all relevant emails, even if they are stored in different folders within the mailbox. This feature is available on both the Windows and web versions of Outlook.

The release phase for this update is general availability, set to be rolled out in April of CY2023. The platform for this update includes both desktop and cloud instances, and it will be available worldwide across all standard multi-tenant platforms. This feature is identified by roadmap ID 122152 on Microsoft's 365 roadmap, accessible through the provided link.

By enabling search folders, Outlook makes it easier for users to stay on top of their email communication by consolidating relevant messages into a single folder. This feature will enhance productivity and streamline the email workflow for users across all industries.
