Microsoft Teams: Extended Real-time Telemetry Retention Up To Seven Days
Microsoft Teams is introducing an update to its Real-Time Analytics feature, which will store real-time telemetry by default for all users with Teams premium licenses, even if administrators do not explicitly subscribe to it in the Teams admin center. This feature is intended to help IT admins issue spot network connectivity, audio, video, content sharing, and other issues during meetings before they arise. The update will capture and store data for up to seven days, providing more extended real-time telemetry retention. The feature will be part of a Teams premium add-on SKU, and only users with Teams premium licenses will benefit from this update. The rollout is scheduled to begin in late October 2023, and the update is expected to be complete by mid-November 2023. No action is required at this time from admins to prepare.
