Power Platform – Storage Shared Access Signature security enhancements
The Microsoft Power Platform has new security enhancements for Storage Shared Access Signature (SAS), which will be available starting October 1, 2024. The enhancement includes the addition of IP restrictions to SAS calls, which are utilized for data export and import in the platform. Tenant administrators can configure SAS IP restrictions and log all SAS calls within the platform into Purview. Four IP restrictions are available, including IP Binding Only, IP Firewall Only, IP Binding and Firewall, and IP Binding or Firewall. Security enhancements will increase the level of security for SAS calls. Admins can access and adjust these controls in the Power Platform admin center. Contact Microsoft Support if any issues are experienced with this new feature.
