The September 2024 Windows non-security preview update is now available for Windows 11, versions 23H2 and 22H2
Windows 11 users, the September 2024 non-security preview update is here! Versions 23H2 and 22H2 can now reap the benefits of the update. Head to the Windows 11 update history page for more details on what the update contains. This release's highlights include the ability to share local files from search results in the taskbar search box and a new Delivery Optimization Settings page with a Windows 11 design. Additionally, media controls now appear in the center of the lock screen while media is playing. Installation instructions can be found in the KB for your OS, listed below. Remember, the October 2024 security update will serve as the last security release for certain editions of Windows 11, so make sure to take advantage of these monthly quality updates while you can!
