The August 2024 Windows non-security preview update is now available for Windows 11, versions 23H2 and 22H2

The August 2024 non-security preview update is now available for Windows 11, versions 23H2 and 22H2. The update for Windows 10, version 22H2 will be available soon. The release notes for this update can be accessed from the Windows 11 update history page. The update includes improvements such as quicker response to scan mode in Narrator, improved Voice access, and improved Widget Board security and APIs. Users can now share content to their Android devices via the Windows Share window only after pairing their Android device with their Windows PC using the Link to Windows app on the Android device and Phone Link on the PC. It is important to note that the October 2024 security update is the last security release for Enterprise and Education editions of Windows 11, version 21H2 and Home and Pro editions of Windows 11, version 22H2. Thereafter, those editions will no longer receive monthly security and preview updates. However, supported editions of Windows 11, versions 23H2 and 22H2 will continue to have support through their specific lifecycle dates which can be found at the Windows 11 release information page.
