Non-security preview updates will continue to be released for Windows 11, version 22H2

If you're using or managing Windows 11, version 22H2 devices, you can now expect to receive non-security preview updates for a longer period of time. These updates contain optional fixes and productivity enhancements that are available every fourth week of the month, providing a preview of the features that will be available in the next month's security update. Initially, the last optional non-security preview update for version 22H2 was scheduled to be released on February 27, 2024. However, due to customer feedback, the date has been extended to allow more customers to take advantage of continuous innovation. The new end date for Windows 11, version 22H2 is June 24, 2025 for the Enterprise, Education, IoT Enterprise, and Enterprise multi-session editions. For the Home, Pro, Pro Education, and Pro for Workstations editions, non-security preview updates will be available until June 26, 2024. This extension will allow for more devices to be tested for improvements and fixes before the upcoming security update. It's worth noting that these devices will continue to receive security updates (known as "B" releases) until the end of servicing for version 22H2 as per Windows lifecycle policies. No changes have been made to the end of servicing dates for Windows 11, version 22H2.
