Live translated captions for meetings requires Teams Premium license

In order to use the live translated captions for meetings feature in Microsoft Teams, users will be required to have a Teams Premium license. Previously in preview, this feature will require licensing starting in April 2023, with license enforcement enabled in July of the same year. With this change, only individual users licensed with Teams Premium and meeting attendees of meetings organized by a user with Teams Premium licensing will have access to the feature. Live captions without translation will still be available for all Microsoft Teams users. For organizations that intend to make use of live translated captions, it is recommended that Teams Premium licenses be acquired for the users that will benefit.
