Live Translated Captions in Meetings and Calls

Microsoft's Cognitive Service Speech Translation Capabilities will now support Live Translated Captions in meetings and calls, allowing users to select their preferred language option for Live Captions. With this feature, users can fully engage in meetings where the spoken language may not be their strongest, making it easier for everyone to participate. This feature will be globally rolled out from mid-September to early-October, with GCC-H and DoD following in mid-October to early-November. When a user enables Live Captions, they will see the option for Live Translated Captions in the 'Subtitles' menu, allowing them to select their preferred translation language while also selecting the spoken language for everyone in the meeting. A range of languages will be supported, including English (US), Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, and several others. Note that some languages might be in the preview stage initially. Additional details and documentation for this feature are available through the link provided.
