Microsoft Teams: Live Translated Transcript for Teams Premium Users
Microsoft Teams is rolling out a new feature for premium users that allows for live translated transcripts during meetings. Users can choose their spoken language and the language in which they wish to view the transcript. This feature is expected to roll out between early September and late November depending on the release. To turn on transcription during a meeting, users can go to the meeting toolbar, select More, select Record and transcribe, and choose Start transcription. This option is off by default, and Teams Premium license is required to use it. Admins can turn on or turn off the Transcription setting within a meeting policy located under Meetings > Meeting policies.
