Microsoft Purview | Communication Compliance: Policy alerts improvements

Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance is set to roll out improved capabilities and customization options for policy alerts, with a public preview beginning in mid-November 2024 before general availability in early February 2025. Admins will be able to customize and adjust the frequency of alert emails and their intended recipients. This feature comes enabled by default and can be accessed through Microsoft's official documentation pages. The enhanced policy alerts feature is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 181825 and seeks to help organizations detect business conduct and regulatory compliance violations. These include sensitive or confidential information breaches, threats and harassment, adult content sharing, and more. With pseudonymized usernames, role-based access controls, investigator opt-ins, and audit logs to maintain user-level privacy, Communication Compliance is a powerful solution.
