Microsoft Teams: Quicker sign in without entering the domain name

Microsoft Teams has recently released a new feature that allows users to sign in more quickly on shared and managed devices without having to enter the full user principal name (UPN). With the help of app configuration policies, the domain name can be autofilled, allowing for a shorter sign-in process.
This can be especially useful for companies or organizations that have a large number of shared devices or for users who frequently need to sign in to Microsoft Teams on different devices. By simplifying the sign-in process, it can save time and increase productivity.
The feature is currently available on Android platforms and is in the General Availability release phase. It was launched in March of the CY2024 calendar year. The roadmap ID for this feature is 383134, and it can be found on the Microsoft 365 roadmap website.
