Microsoft Purview compliance portal: eDiscovery – Enhancements to available metadata for search and collection queries
Microsoft has enhanced its eDiscovery metadata search and collection queries capabilities, giving administrators more options to conduct searches and collect content within their organizations. The new metadata fields include message ID, sensitivity labels, and more, giving searchers greater flexibility to enable more specific outcomes related to investigations. This feature is currently in preview release phase and is set to be fully released on the cloud platform in April 2024. This improvement promises to streamline workflow for admins and investigators who require greater flexibility in conducting searches for specific queries.
