Microsoft Purview compliance portal: eDiscovery (Standard) to eDiscovery (Premium) case migration tool (U.S. Government clouds)
This feature release allows users to seamlessly migrate their current eDiscovery Standard case to eDiscovery Premium, while preserving their previous search and hold settings within the case. After the migration, users can proceed with working in the migrated case using eDiscovery Premium's workflow pipeline. This functionality will be available on the web cloud instance platform for U.S. Government clouds under General Availability Release on July CY2023. To sum up, with this new feature of the Microsoft Purview Compliance portal, users can now easily upgrade to eDiscovery Premium while keeping their previous eDiscovery Standard case settings.
