Microsoft Purview | Data Loss Prevention: Oversharing popups enhancements on Microsoft Outlook Win32

Microsoft 365 E5 Compliance users can look forward to enhanced Data Loss Prevention (DLP) features in Outlook Win32, as Microsoft introduces two new predicates: 'Message contains' and 'Attachment contains'. These allow for client-side evaluation of email components and display relevant policy tips and oversharing popups. Unlike the broader Content contains predicate, these new predicates are tailored for client-side evaluation of specific email components only and show DLP Policy tips and Oversharing popups accordingly in Microsoft Outlook Win32. Rollout of these enhancements is set to begin in mid-April 2024, with completion expected by January 2025. No admin action is needed for the update. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 376999.
