Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Message/Attachment contains EXO predicates
The Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal is now equipped with new tools to enable Data Loss Prevention (DLP) evaluation on specific email components like email body or attachments. The two new Exchange predicates - "Message contains" and "Attachment contains" allow for targeted DLP evaluation, unlike the broader "Content contains" predicate which evaluated the entire email envelope. The new features are currently in the Preview Release phase and are available on the Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) platform. The release date is scheduled for June CY2024 with a Preview date of April CY2024.
