Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Oversharing Popups enhancements on Outlook win32 desktop
Microsoft has made updates to their oversharing popups in Outlook win32 desktop to improve data loss prevention. These updates include additional scenarios powered by predicates such as content not labeled, message or attachment not labeled, and file extension. They also introduced a customizable oversharing dialog where users can configure a custom title, body, business justifications, and dynamic variables and tokens for matched recipients, attachment names, and labels. These updates are expected to be released in April 2024 and are currently in the Preview phase, set to launch in February 2024. The platform for this update is the web cloud instance, available to the Worldwide Standard Multi-Tenant version. For more information, refer to the Microsoft roadmap with ID 367053.
