Microsoft Teams: Ability to purchase third-party app subscriptions from Teams Admin Center and Teams app store

Microsoft Teams is set to launch an updated purchase experience for third-party app subscriptions, which will simplify the subscription process by providing a new user interface. The update will roll out in late June 2024, with no preparatory action required, and will be associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 179897. The enhancements will allow administrators and end-users to examine the plans offered by an app and purchase third-party app subscriptions that fulfill their requirements. The streamlined experience aims to make the subscription process faster and easier, from selecting a plan to reviewing billing details. This will provide a more identifiable user interface for users to find the most suitable plan for their needs without being overwhelmed by choices. The upgrade is expected to begin rolling out by late June 2024 and will be completed by late July 2024. No preparatory action is required.
