New Microsoft Outlook for Windows: People Hub improvements
The new Outlook for Windows is set to receive an update that will improve its People Hub feature, providing users with a modern contact management experience. The enhanced People Hub will display up-to-date and high-quality information about the contacts that matter the most, with enriched profiles and auto-hidden duplicate contacts. The rollout will begin in mid-January 2025 for Targeted Release and late February 2025 for General Availability. No admin action is needed to facilitate the rollout, and it will happen automatically by the specified date. After the update, the People Hub will have a unified view, and organizational profile information will be included. The new contact management experience will automatically enrich contacts with relevant profile information from the organization's directory and other sources, and users will have the option to manage links to contact sources via the Manage sources feature in the updated profile card. Contact duplicates will also be automatically hidden to improve the contact management experience.
