Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Protect files on remote/mapped network devices

The upcoming Microsoft Purview compliance portal will offer new features to protect sensitive data on remote network shares or mapped network drives. This will provide the same level of protection as files stored on a mounted hard drive, allowing for greater flexibility in managing data across multiple devices and networks. The product release phase is set for preview release on June CY2023, with the preview date scheduled for March CY2023. This feature will be available on the web cloud instance for Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) and was created on 2022-12-10.
