Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Protect sensitive text when it is shared through Web forms
The Microsoft Purview compliance portal has announced a new Data Loss Prevention feature that extends data protection controls to include sensitive data shared through text in web forms. This capability will allow for protection to be extended beyond sensitive files and unsanctioned sites. The feature is currently in its Preview Release phase and is expected to be released in July 2023, with a preview date set for May 2023. This platform will be available on the Web Cloud Instance and Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant). If you're looking to protect sensitive data shared on web forms, this upcoming feature is definitely one to keep an eye on.
