Microsoft Teams: Improved Microsoft Lists links in Teams chats and channels
Microsoft Teams is set to roll out a new feature that will improve collaboration by displaying richer details when sharing links to Microsoft Lists, List items, and Lists forms in Teams chats and channels. The new feature will include the name and path of the list for Lists links, the title and path of a specific list item for Lists item links, and the title of the form and instructions for filling out the form for List form links. This will allow team members to easily identify specific List link types without switching between Teams and other applications, enhancing workflow efficiency. This feature is set to roll out in January and February of 2025 for both Windows and Mac desktops.
Organizations using Teams will not need to take any action as the new feature will be enabled by default. It is recommended that users inform themselves about the upcoming feature to better understand how it can enhance their workflow. It is also important to ensure Teams is updated to the latest version to take advantage of the new functionality.
