Microsoft Teams: Busy-on-busy End User Setting
Microsoft Teams has introduced a new feature to manage incoming calls when you are busy with another call or in a meeting. This feature allows you to choose between three options - allowing calls to come through, playing a busy signal, or redirecting the call based on your preferences. The feature will be rolled out by early March and will not have a direct impact on your organization, as the default value for the busy-on-busy policy setting remains unchanged.
To enable the busy-on-busy setting for end-users, tenant admins need to change the BusyOnBusyEnabledType value in the calling policy and set it to 'User controlled'. Overall, this feature enhances the user experience while managing multiple incoming calls.
