Microsoft Teams: Integrate Chat notification with Meeting RSVP status
Microsoft Teams now offers greater flexibility in how users receive notifications in meeting chats based on their RSVP status. If you choose to decline a meeting, you will not receive notifications and the corresponding chats will not appear on your chat list. Conversely, accepting a meeting will result in notifications for all new messages related to the meeting.
This feature is generally available on the Microsoft Teams platform for various environments including iOS Cloud Instance GCC, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC High, and DoD. It was created on September 26th, 2023 and can be tracked under roadmap ID 161739 via the following link https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?featureid=161739.
