Microsoft Teams: Virtual appointment – a new Teams Meeting type for B2C meetings

Microsoft Teams has introduced a new type of meeting, called Virtual Appointment, for Business-to-Customer (B2C) meetings with individuals outside of your organization. Guests can easily join the meeting from any device without the need to install Teams and will have access to a virtual waiting room until the meeting begins. The meeting invitation includes important details about the appointment to make joining easy. This feature is set to be released on the desktop and cloud platforms in December CY2022 as part of the General Availability release phase. This update demonstrates Microsoft's continued efforts to enhance its Teams platform to better serve businesses.
