Microsoft Teams: In-meeting Error Messaging

The latest update to Microsoft Teams Meeting offers a new in-meeting error messaging feature that will notify users directly through an error message in the meeting right pane. This feature will indicate why users cannot access chats during a meeting when their chat access is limited by policy or due to system limitations and unexpected errors. This feature is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 167211 and the rollout is planned for November and December, with different timelines for different releases. Once available, this feature will facilitate better communication with end-users, allowing them to understand why they cannot access certain chats during meetings. There is no specific action that organizations need to take in preparation for this change.
