Microsoft Outlook: Quickly see who is in the office based on work hours and location

Microsoft Outlook: Quickly see who is in the office based on work hours and location

Microsoft Outlook is introducing a new calendar feature in mid-August 2024 for Targeted Release and early October 2024 for General Availability. This new feature will allow users to quickly view who will be in the office based on their work hours and location settings. The feature will be enabled by default and will be available to all users of new Outlook for Windows and Outlook on the web. Before this rollout, users would have to select the location icon for each day in the calendar to see who plans to be in the office. After the rollout, users will have a new "always on" peek in the top right of the calendar that shows who plans to be in the office for the current day, in addition to the location icon. Admin action is not required before the rollout but you may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation.

This new calendar feature will help users plan their day, schedule meetings accordingly, and communicate more effectively with colleagues. The post Microsoft Outlook: Quickly see who is in the office based on work hours and location appeared first on M365 Admin.
