Outlook on the web – Work Hours and Location

In a bid to help organizations navigate the challenges of hybrid work, Outlook on the web is introducing a new feature called Work Hours and Location (WHL). Users can configure their work hours and location, setting up different working times or multiple work slots per day. Additionally, creating a meeting in Outlook on the web will also take the WHL of attendees into account when suggesting available times. The feature is set to roll out in May and June of 2023. Once configured, a user's WHL will be displayed in their Teams profile card and in the Scheduling Assistant in Outlook on the web, enhancing the experience of hybrid work and meetings. It is important to note that if users do not set up WHL, nothing will change. Organizations do not need to take any specific action to prepare for this change, but it is recommended that they communicate the feature to their users.
