Microsoft Stream: Updates to migration tool
Microsoft Stream's migration tool is getting new capabilities to improve video content migration from Stream (Classic) to Stream (on SharePoint). With partial migration, users can selectively migrate specific videos within a container. Orphan video support enables migration of videos with no assigned owner in Stream (Classic). These enhancements add greater flexibility and control to the migration process.
The tool is available for Microsoft Stream and can be used directly from the web cloud instance. The release date is scheduled for June CY2023, and the product belongs to the general availability release phase. This is great news for those users looking to optimize their video content migration without compromising on quality or ease of use.
