Take action: Enable multifactor authentication for your tenant before October 15, 2024

To ensure the security of your Microsoft Azure portal, Microsoft Entra admin center, and Microsoft Intune admin center, enabling multifactor authentication (MFA) for your tenant by October 15, 2024, is mandatory. In the absence of this extra layer of security, admins will be prompted to register for MFA to gain access. As per MC862873 post, starting on or after October 15, 2024, Microsoft will enforce MFA for signing in to the aforementioned services and any services accessed through the Intune admin center, such as Windows 365 Cloud PC.
To take advantage of the added protection that MFA provides, enable MFA as soon as possible. If unable to do so before the enforcement date, apply to postpone the deadline. Noncompliance may lead to difficulty accessing the portal and centers from an admin account. For more information on preparing for mandatory multifactor authentication for Azure and admin portals, visit the link mentioned in the post (Planning for mandatory multifactor authentication for Azure and admin portals).
Remember, if you haven't enabled MFA for your tenant, you must do so before October 15, 2024. The enforcement of mandatory MFA may affect how your organization accesses the aforementioned services.
