Announcing the retirement of ‘Office 365 Security and Compliance Center’ (protection.office.com)

Microsoft has announced the final step in retiring the 'Office 365 Security and Compliance Center' (protection.office.com) and completing its migration to newer portals. The new portals include the Microsoft 365 Defender portal, Microsoft Purview compliance portal, and modern Exchange admin center. This migration began earlier with Office 365 Security solutions fully moved to the Microsoft 365 Defender portal and Compliance solutions fully moved to the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. Mail flow solutions were also fully moved to the modern Exchange admin center. Microsoft has now stopped all redirection to the new portals and suggests users update their internal links or bookmarks to the old portal. This change is planned to occur between early October and November 2022 and affects all customers who still use the Office 365 Security and Compliance Center.

If you are a user, make sure to update your internal links or bookmarks to the old portal as this change affects everyone who still uses the Office 365 Security and Compliance Center. Otherwise, users accessing the new portals, Microsoft 365 Defender portal, Microsoft Purview compliance portal, and modern Exchange admin center will not be affected.
