Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Teams and Outlook – Frontline worker Audience targeting using Job code, location and department

Microsoft Teams and Outlook now offer a new capability that allows frontline worker communicators to easily target specific audiences based on location, job code, and department. This feature will be generally available starting in February 2023, with a preview available in December 2022. The platform is available on iOS and the cloud instance is worldwide for a standard multi-tenant GCC. This roadmap ID #100969 of Microsoft Teams highlights this new feature, making it easier for organizations to streamline communication among their workforce.

If you're a frontline worker or working in a role where targeted communication is critical, this new feature can help ensure you're getting the information you need, while reducing the noise of irrelevant content or announcements in your mailbox. As a result, Microsoft Teams and Outlook offer a more efficient, targeted approach to reaching your team members, resulting in better collaboration, engagement and productivity.
