Power Automate – Use CyberArk credentials in desktop flow connections

Power Automate – Use CyberArk credentials in desktop flow connections

A new feature has been announced for Power Automate desktop flow connections - the ability to use CyberArk credentials. This feature, set to become generally available on September 30, 2024, allows for secrets stored in CyberArk to be leveraged by users to connect to Windows sessions on desktop flow machines. It's important to note that secrets are not stored in Power Automate, but instead retrieved during runtime, and the feature supports rotating passwords without needing to update the desktop flow connection.

If you're using Power Automate, this feature can be beneficial in accessing and leveraging stored secrets in CyberArk, without having to manually update passwords or make changes to existing connections. Keep in mind that no action is required for now, and to visit the Create a CyberArk credential page for more information on this feature.
