Power Automate for desktop now features a new mode: picture-in-picture execution. It allows attended desktop flows to run locally in an isolated Windows session through a virtual window, without getting in the way of any other work the user might be doing. This feature can be triggered in the Power Automate for desktop console. Once there, simply select the target flow, open the More actions menu, and click on Run in picture-in-picture. Additionally, the Run in picture-in-picture flow property can be enabled to ensure the flow always runs in picture-in-picture mode.
Overall, this new feature enhances the usability and efficiency of Power Automate, giving makers an extra tool to work with in creating more complex workflows with fewer interruptions. Please note, this message is for awareness and no action is required.
